New York native, Jon ‘Bones’ Jones could possibly go down in history as one of the greatest UFC fighters of all-time. Since making his debut in 2008, Jones has taken the UFC world by storm as has proven to be a fierce competitor. However, there’s been more to Jones’ boxing career than just wins and accolades.   Recently, Jones entered a drug treatment facility after testing positive for cocaine.  Reports have indicated that “Jones has checked himself into a rehab center,” to get himself clean.  The UFC who has said they support Jones’ decision, issued a statement saying: “We support UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones’ decision to enter a drug treatment facility to address his recent issue. While we are disappointed in the failed test, we applaud him for making this decision to enter a drug treatment facility. Jon is a strong, courageous fighter inside the Octagon, and we expect him to fight this issue with the same poise and diligence. We commend him on his decision, and look forward to him emerging from this program a better man as a result.” Although Jones’ stint in rehab will certainly be a setback.  Hopefully it will end up as nothing more than a hiccup in an otherwise great career. 3. Jon Bones Jones is the youngest UFC champ.

Jon Bones Jones began his fighting career just a few months shy of his 21st birthday. In 2011, at 23 year-old, Jon Bones Jones defeated Mauricio Rua to become the youngest UFC champion in history.

Over the course of his career, Jon Bones Jones has won nine fights by knockout.  However, no one has been able to knock out the 27-year-old phenom. In fact, Jones only has one loss to his name, and it was a due to a disqualification.
